4 New Pet Products to Check Out

We hit a LOT of pet industry trade shows, but there’s no trade show that compares to the annual Global Pet Expo in Orlando. Our team made the annual trek to Florida recently for the monster event that included 3 days, 3400 booths, 3,000 new product launches and more than 7,000 attendees. It was a pet lovers paradise! We’re super excited about all of the new products we’ll be bringing into the stores from the show. Here’s a look at a few of them already available at our stores in Orleans, South Dennis & Chatham!

Packable Rain Poncho
April showers won’t put a damper on walks when your pup has his own rain poncho! They fold neatly up into a small pouch that easily attaches to a leash.  And their bright, colorful designs will brighten up the stormiest of days!

PAWks Dog Socks
These are ideal for dogs with foot injuries (to keep them from licking their paws), older dogs who need a little extra traction, or skittish dogs who slip and slide on the hardwood floors.  They’re also ideal for protecting those hardwood floors from the inevitable scratch marks. They come in a ton of cute, stylish designs and can easily be thrown in the washing machine with your own socks.  Unlike your socks though, these come in sets of 4 instead of 2!

“One Fur All” Candles, Room Sprays & Car Fresheners
Let’s face it, no matter how hard we clean, scrub and vacuum, if we live with pets, our home takes a toll.  We were initially skeptical of these so called “miracle” candles and spray, but after trying them ourselves, we all agreed that the hype is real! While most candles and fresheners mask smells, these are cleverly designed to neutralize odors and leave your home or car undeniably odor free. The candles are made in the USA from natural soy wax and burn for 60-70 hours.

You can now have a brew with your four-legged buddy!  Brewscuits “beer grain dog biscuits” were created in Pennsylvania by two homebrewers.  When they accidentally left their bag of grain on the picnic table, their rescue dogs found it and as the brewers say “had a party on the patio”.  After talking to vets, they discovered that barley, oats and rye are super nutritious for dogs, so they combined those three ingredients with egg, flour and either peanut butter, pumpkin or sweet potato to create Brewscuits. Beyond the health benefits, their packaging and product names are just plain fun! Big dogs will love the oversized “Keggers”, while smaller pups can snack on “Brew Bits”.  And for a special occasion, treat your pup to a “Drunken Moose”, which combines peanut butter and moose antlers.
