About our Delivery Fees:
Due to the high volume of delivery orders we are processing and limited number of drivers, we cannot offer free delivery for lawn & garden items such as mulch, soils, plants, fertilizer, etc. Our standard Delivery Fees ($45 and up) will apply to orders such as these, or we encourage curbside pickup.
Free Home Delivery: For essential food & supplies to keep your family (particularly the furry and feathery ones) fed and taken care of.
Lawn/Garden/NonEssential Items Home Delivery: Standard delivery fees start at $45 vary depending on the type/volume of product ordered. The Cashier will review delivery fees with you while placing your order. If this option does not work for you, we recommend choosing curbside pickup.
What qualifies for flat-rate local home delivery?
- Meet a minimum purchase total of $49
- Not exceed a maximize combined weight of 75 pounds
- Must be a Rooster Rewards customer. Not a Rooster Rewards member yet, it’s free & easy to sign-up here.
What typically qualifies:
- Pet Food & Treats
- Pet Supplies – leashes, beds, carriers, wellness supplements & more
- Wild Bird Food
- Wild Bird Feeders
Examples of orders that typically qualify for flat-rate local home delivery:
- One large 33 lb. bag of dog food and a dog bed
- Two large 33 lb. bags of dog food and a bag of treats
- One 40 lb. bag of bird seed and a bird feeder
What doesn’t qualify for flat-rate local home delivery:
- Farm feed, hay and shavings*
- Bagged soils & mulches*
- Bagged stone*
- Plant material*
- Home heating* – firewood, wood pellets and coal:

Can I add other items to my delivery?
Absolutely as long as your order meets the minimum purchase of $49 and maximum combined weight of 75 pounds. Examples of other products: hand pruners, liquid plant fertilizers, leashes, pet carriers, pet waste bags, health supplements etc.
Where and when is Flat-Rate Local Home Delivery offered?
Delivery is available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to residential street addresses from Barnstable to Provincetown on select days of the week. See the below map and chart for more details.
To help keep our community safe, flat-rate local home delivery fees have been waived through the end of March

What are your delivery hours?
Orders are normally delivered between 8am and 5pm. *We aim for earlier in the day to avoid the seasonal traffic!
What if I place my order after the cutoff time?
Orders placed after the cutoff will be added to the next delivery day in your zone.
For example, if you live in Barnstable and place your order on Tuesday, your order will be delivered the following Monday.
Do I still earn Rooster Rewards on my delivery order?
Yes. All orders earn loyalty points. Eligible pet and wild bird food and litter purchases will also receive frequent buyer benefits. Vouchers and Frequent Buyer Cards can currently only be redeemed in-store.
Do you deliver canned cat and dog food?
Yes, but you must purchase an entire case. Unfortunately, we are unable to mix and match individual cans.
Do you deliver frozen food or treats?
No. Frozen product is not currently eligible for delivery but you can purchase it by Curbside Shopping or order for Curbside Pick-up.
Do I have to be home?
No. We will always knock or ring the bell when arriving with your order. If no one is home, we will neatly place all items near the front door, unless you have provided special instructions.
If there is inclement weather, we will place the products you ordered in a compostable plastic bag (please recycle!) to protect them.

Do you deliver other products you carry?
Yes. Delivery is available for other products including bagged soils, mulches and stone, furniture and farm feed. These items are not eligible for flat-rate local home delivery due to their size and weight. Standard delivery charges apply and start at $45. Please see store for details.
